One hot summer day in May of 2012, a group of strong willed women were sitting around over coffee talking about dreams and plans to come. The goal was to create a family and female owned business that empowered women and encouraged creativity. Inspired by fine fragrance and a love for candles, Seventh Avenue Apothecary was born.
In order to celebrate generations of family history and heritage, hours upon hours were spent developing a line of candles inspired by the cultural and culinary legacies of Tampa, FL. Every detail in the fragrance and packaging was carefully selected with meaning and a story to tell.
Seventh Avenue Apothecary today- The manufacturing facility, located in Ybor City has been in the family for over 50 years. We currently employ 10 part time employees from high school seniors to retirees. From home & decor to stylish boutiques, our candles can be found in over 250 locations across the country, such as Hallmark, Home Goods, Hazel & Dot, Scout & Molly’s, Plow & Hearth, Why Not Boutique, Ocean Prime, US Embassy in Paris France and many more!
